Introduction

Dunaflor BV, located at Duinhoekstraat 164 in 8660 De Panne, Belgium, processes information about individuals on a daily basis. In doing so, Dunaflor BV abides by the law and respects the privacy of the persons about whom it receives information and treats that information in the strictest confidence. Personal data

Dunaflor BV may collect the following data from you:

  • First and last name of travel companions
  • Identification number
  • Address (street, house number, postcode, municipality, country)
  • Date of birth
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number (fixed or mobile)
  • Number plate
  • Company name, address and VAT number
  • Credit card number and expiry date (only if necessary)
  • Room preference

Processing

All personal data will only be used for the performance of our services. We do not share your personal data with companies, organisations and individuals outside Dunaflor BV unless this is necessary for the performance of the agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

We need your personal data because of the following reasons:

  • For the organisation of a stay at our hotel. We do this based on the performance of a contract you enter into with us by making a reservation with us.
  • To be able to identify owners of vehicles in our car park.
  • Sending out newsletters and/or promotions to guests or visitors to the website who signed up for them or agreed to them.
  • For complaint handling and dispute management. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interest to deal with a complaint or dispute and to safeguard our rights and interests.
  • To provide our cooperation in the contact investigation of persons (suspected) to be infected with coronavirus COVID-19. This is done pursuant to the law.
  • Detection and prevention of fraud. We may use your personal data to detect and prevent fraud and other illegal or unwanted activities.

How long we keep your data

Dunaflor BV retains your data for 10 years since your last stay at Ara Dune Hotel.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Dunaflor BV only provides your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of an agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Minimum data processing

The personal data we collect from you is for our purposes only. We limit the collection of your personal data to the minimum strictly necessary for our business operations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, modify or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Dunaflor BV and you are entitled to data portability.
